Meet The Engineer
Sam Hatch is a Wilmington, NC native with a lifelong passion for music and a heart for helping others bring their sound to life. With over 15 years of experience as a professional gigging musician, Sam has performed across stages big and small, and serves as the frontman of The Hatch Brothers, a rock band with multiple original records released and collaborations spanning a wide range of genres.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Composition and Vocal Performance from Campbell University, where he honed both his creative instincts and technical expertise. In addition to voice, Sam is a skilled multi-instrumentalist—proficient in guitar, piano, bass, and ukulele—with a deep understanding of arrangement and studio production.
Sam spent several years teaching voice and instruments at the Port City Conservatory of Music before opening his own studio. With over six years of private instruction experience, he brings patience, clarity, and encouragement to every session. He currently serves as Director of Music at Wrightsville Beach Baptist Church.
Today, Sam runs Hatch Music Studios from a peaceful farm in Bolivia, NC, serving the Cape Fear region and beyond. His studio is a space where creativity thrives—equipped for professional recording, mixing, and mastering, but grounded in personal connection, artistry, and a genuine love for music.
